Course Objectives | The objective of the course is to examine journalistic discourse stylistically, focus on differences in language use and discourse, follow current print and audio-visual media and practice translating media texts, and build journalistic terminology. |
Learning Outcomes | The students who succeeded in this course;

Course Description | The linguistic features of the various language use in print and audiovisual media will be examined. Different types of texts, their function and discourse will be compared. Appropriate strategies which could be used in translating such texts will be discussed. |
